SCB markets the products made in the Erca production unit – Grassobbio (BG) and in Teknachem – Canonica di Triuggio (MI). The two companies and, consequently, the two production sites, work under Quality Certification in accordance with the standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. Even though this alone guarantees a strict control over all the production processes and the customer service, SCB has decided to obtain its own Quality Certificate within the first three months of 2008.

Together with the other companies of the Erca Group, SCB has decided to base its business activities on the principles stated in the SA 8000 (Social Accountability 8000) standard regarding the requirements for the social accountability of a company. Apart from following the provisions of the standard regarding child labour, forced labour, general working, health and safety conditions, pay and working hours, the objective is to develop a style of business based not only on the quality of the product/service, but also on its ethical nature.
